Deep Ellum
Once known as the hub of live music and nightlife in Dallas set against a grungy backdrop, Deep Ellum has been undergone gentrification over the last few years. Warehouse are being bought up and converted into offices and lofts, while nightclubs and live music venues continue to thrive.

The neighborhood was once considered pretty dangerous but with better lighting and signage has improved significantly. At its peak Deep Ellum was the official entertainment district of Dallas and was home to 57 bars and nightclubs, some of them world famous. It is still one of Dallas' premier entertainment district and home to great venues like Club Dada, the Red Blood Club, Purgatory, Club One and Double Wide.

There are also plenty of galleries and restaurants that call the area home as well. Get here early and enjoy a meal before going out and explore the local art scene.

Check into The Adolphus-A Noble House Hotel to stay close to the action. This 4 star hotel is located in nearby Downtown Dallas and includes plenty of great amenities. The Belmont Hotel is a funky boutique hotel that offers intimate accommodations near Deep Ellum.
