The Big D is home to many museums. You can find works of art from both Eastern and Western cultures from all periods and different mediums. Some museums charge a fee while others are free to stroll. On Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m. visit the Dallas Museum of Art when the museum is free to the public.

The Arts District and the Uptown area are home to many of the area's galleries and private collections. If you like sculpture, check out the indoor-outdoor collection of renowned Dallas collector Raymond Nasher at the Nasher Sculpture Center which is truly fascinating.
