Dallas celebrates the Independence Day whole heartedly with colorful parades, concerts, festivals and various activities through out the city. For free concerts Bedford Boys Ranch Park, Hidden Creek Sports Complex, Armstrong Park, Frisco City Hall are some of the many venues where you can have a good time. Those who wish to see the parade can go Downtown Dallas, Downtown Arlington, Little League fields on North Colony Boulevard, Lake Dallas City Park and Plano. You can find other parades, pie eating contests, pet shows at various other locations also.

Great fireworks can be seen at Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Flower Mound High School, Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie, Vista Ridge Mall apart from other venues. Wiley G. Thomas Coliseum fireworks can be seen from the parking lots of Wiley G.
