As the headquarters of Neiman Marcus and home to its flagship store on Main Street in Downtown Dallas, Dallasites definitely know their fashion. Dallas is home to plenty of one-of-a-kind boutiques, national chains and luxury designer stores.

Of course, malls are plentiful here but make sure to go off the beaten path and check out specialty shots and boutiques in areas like Deep Ellum and Knox-Henderson. For those who like to do their shopping indoors NorthPark Dallas, Town East Mall and the Galleria Dallas.

A must for any shopping fanatic is visiting the Highland Park Village, the second mall ever built in the United States. Built in 1931, this upscale mall still remains a favorite with Dallasites and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
