Uptown is located north of Downtown in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas. It is a rather expensive area with lovely hotels and bars, antique shops and art museums. McKinney Avenue is the main street of Uptown, and its fun to take the trolley for a look around the charming neighborhood. The urban lifestyle of this area draws a mature crowd.
